The fee depends on the work required, complexity, available records, jurisdiction and professional involvement. Tell us about the matter so we can assess the scope and prepare an appropriate written proposal.
What the proposal should explain
- The professional responsible and the agreed deliverables.
- Whether the fee is fixed, hourly or divided into stages.
- Applicable VAT and whether it is included in the stated amount.
- Court, government and other third-party fees.
- Payment terms, assumptions and work outside the scope.
Additional work
If the requirements change, any additional work and cost must be agreed before it is undertaken. An initial enquiry does not commit you to a paid engagement.
Consultation fees
A written consultation is quoted once the questions and documents to be considered are defined. It does not automatically include continuing representation, applications or correspondence with other parties.
