Formation support built around your business
Registering a company starts with decisions about ownership, control and how the business will operate. Yudey helps you organise those decisions before they become entries in an application. The starting point is your activity, the people involved and the outcome you want to achieve. A single founder with straightforward ownership may need a different scope from a business bringing in investors or transferring an existing trade.
The proposed engagement can cover a review of the formation information, a list of decisions still required, coordination of the agreed documents and a practical handover. We confirm whether preparation, submission or specialist drafting is included before you instruct the work. This means you can see the deliverables and responsibility for each step rather than assuming that every service sits inside a basic incorporation package.
Decide the ownership before completing the application
We help identify the questions that need an answer: who will own the shares, who will act as director and which people exercise significant control. For multiple founders, we discuss whether the proposed ownership reflects contributions, decision-making and future plans. Share ownership and a director's management role are different, and a simple percentage split may leave important commercial questions unresolved.
The review also considers whether standard formation documents fit the intended arrangement or whether tailored articles or a shareholders' agreement should be discussed separately. We do not treat incorporation as a substitute for resolving a disagreement between founders. Where different participants need independent advice, that requirement is identified before documents are finalised. The official formation guidance explains the underlying company and ownership requirements. [1]
Prepare the information and verification route
Your formation pack brings together the agreed particulars, business activities and registration choices. We flag inconsistencies and missing decisions so they can be resolved before the application stage. The appropriate registered office jurisdiction and address arrangements need to be established; any address service is a separate item unless expressly included in the proposal. We do not insert an invented office location or assume that a home address is the right choice for you.
Companies House identity verification and the use of personal codes need to be handled through the applicable official process. The relevant steps depend on each person's role and timing. We explain the information needed to coordinate the work, but sensitive identity evidence and personal codes should not be sent through the initial enquiry form. Where an authorised verification or filing provider is required, their role and terms are confirmed before that work begins. [2]
What your handover should contain
The agreed handover should make the next action clear. Depending on scope, it can include the formation particulars reviewed, the completed documents available, confirmation of an agreed submission and a list of outstanding actions. We distinguish information prepared for an application from registration actually accepted by Companies House. The official application route and government processing remain separate from our professional support. [3]
Once incorporation is confirmed, the business still needs suitable financial records, operational arrangements and attention to relevant tax or employer obligations. We identify which follow-up services should be considered and what has already been included. A business bank account, insurance, VAT registration, payroll, licences and ongoing bookkeeping are not automatically supplied by registering the company. You can then decide whether to handle each item yourself or agree further support.
A written quote before you commit
Your quotation is based on the number of participants, ownership complexity, the information available and the work requested. It sets out professional fees in pounds sterling, applicable VAT, official charges and any specialist or third-party costs. A quoted company formation service should be assessed against its actual deliverables, not only its headline price. We explain the boundary between preparation, filing and continuing administration.
Timescales are agreed after the necessary information and verification dependencies are understood. We do not promise bank approval, an accepted company name, same-day incorporation or a particular tax saving. If a launch date is important, tell us at the start so we can identify the steps within the proposed scope and those controlled by other organisations. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to paid work.
Start with a short business summary
Use the form below to describe the business, the proposed owners and your intended start date. If you already trade, explain the current structure and whether contracts, assets or staff may need to move. This helps distinguish a new incorporation from a wider business transfer that needs additional assessment. You can also identify any investor deadline or unresolved founder decision.
We use the initial information to clarify the appropriate service and prepare the proposed scope. You do not need a complete document pack to make an enquiry. We will explain which records are needed for the agreed work and how to share them securely. If the first decision is whether a company is suitable at all, the company structure review provides an alternative starting point.
